Portfolio Page for Princeton
What follows on this page are links to a google drive folder from where 4 scores can be downloaded to view.
The first is a new Orchestra piece called St Clair to Sawgatuck and is the best example of my writing style to date. Unfortunately this piece is yet to be performed or read, but I believe the score speaks for itself.
The second score is And Slowly Comes the Spring for saxophone, bass clarinet, strings, and vibraphone. The recording is from the premiere performance in Aarhus Denmark, April 2018 played by Ensemble Flood, a group I co-lead with saxophonist Lisa Nyberg. The opening and closing passages (appx first 3 minutes and last 3 minutes might be of interest if you are short on time)
Third is By Air for wind quintet. Below is a video of the second performance of the piece at the Wigmore Hall in late June 2017. The first movement of this piece became the inspiration for the first five minutes of St Clair to Sawgatuck.
The final piece is Waking Up to Snow in May for solo percussionist playing vibraphone and two cymbals. This recording is from the 15th of December, performed by Emmanuel Joste. The piece was written for Emmanuel’s final master’s recital and was an audition piece for his entrance into the Paris Conservatoire Soloists Course.
